This free online course will offers users the opportunity to access learning materials providing animal welfare knowledge relevant to China. All course materials, instructions and quizzes are in Simplified Chinese.

Students will learn what animal welfare is and why it is important and relevant within society and the agricultural industry and how China can become a global leader. Students will also learn how to assess welfare indicators and develop an understanding of scientific evidence and processes for determining animal welfare assessments.

The course will feature a number of academics and topic experts, both from China and Internationally, who will take part in audio interviews and present online lectures on a variety of topics relating to animal welfare.
